Summer 2009 sees the Chris Columbus comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper co-starring Samm Levine, Lauren London, Alan Ruck, Andrea Savage, Cynthia Stevenson, Shawn Roberts & Lauren Storm about a nerdy valedictorian proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school Beth Cooper (Hayden) during his graduation speech. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life. She also is filming Alpha and Omega a family adventure // animation alongside Justin Long & Christina Ricci.

Hayden Panettiere went to Japan to protest against fishermen who kill dolphins and pilot whales. Hayden,along with Isabel Lucas and other surfers, tried to stop the dolphins from swimming towards the fishermen but unfortunately it didn't help.

Hayden Panettiere flew to Japan with her mother to participate in an event to Save Whales! She joined Australian actress Isabel Lucas(who played Tasha in Home and Away) and other celebs among with professional surfers. They swam in the sea and did other activities to prevent fishermen killing dolphins and pilot whales.

On Oct. 14 Hayden Panettiere read books to children to benefit the cause 'A time to Read'. She was there with her co-stars from Heroes: Jack Coleman, Masi Oka and Zachary Quinto. Hayden read 2 books to the children.

Hayden Panettiere, who we all know from Heroes, appears to be the next Hollywood It Girl. But she doesn't want to be called that way. She'd rather just be an actress known for her roles in her movies and Heroes then be known as something else
