Fact- Sophia has been nominated for five Teen Choice Awards. In 2005 and 2006 she was nominated for "Choice TV Actress - Drama." In 2007 she received three nominations; "Choice Movie Actress - Comedy," "Choice Movie Actress - Horror/Thriller," and "Choice Movie: Breakout Female." She won in all three of her categories for the 2007 awards.

Quote- "Fashion is in my blood. Growing up, I was always clacking around the house in my mother's shoes." -SB

Fact- When Sophia first started acting she would get in trouble with her agent and manager because she treated acting as an extra-curricular activity.

Quote- (On The Hitcher) "If Grace, my character, had just been running around screaming, I wouldn't have done the movie." -SB

Fact- Classmates used to call Sophia a drama queen because she loved the stage so much.

Quotes- "I’m a bit of a worrier, to an extreme. I’ll crack a joke, then worry if I’ve offended someone—even when they’re laughing. I have a guilt complex, always worrying." -SB

Fact- Sophia's favorite ice cream is Häagan Dazs chocolate chip.

Quote- "(On Miami): "I love that city, it’s so alive. I love the whole Latin, subtropical vibe. It’s a very sexy energy, very invigorating, a wonderful place to vacation." -SB

Fact- Sophia loves karaoke.

Quote- "Of course, everybody makes mistakes, and we’ve all been young and stupid. But people need to have a sense of respect, particularly in this business, because hundreds of people are ready to take your place at any time. Maybe some people should think about that. Me, I’d prefer to have a good reputation rather than getting press for being scandalous, getting drunk in public, staying out late and so on." -SB

Fact- Sophia reads almost every night before going to sleep

Quote- "You know, my parents have always been incredibly supportive. I’m an only child, so we’re very close. There’s just the three of us. They’re exceptional parents but also great friends. My father was able to take his hobby, photography, and turn it into a beautiful career. So when they saw how much I loved acting, they were 100 percent behind me." -SB

Fact- Sophia did almost all of her own stunts for The Hitcher, including riding shotgun in the 360 degree car spin scene.

Quote- "I was lucky. My family is wonderful. And it’s funny, because most of my best friends come from very large families. So it always felt as if I had lots of siblings, though in the end I had to leave them and go home. I kind of got the best of both worlds as a kid." -SB

Fact- Sophia has one of the homiest trailers on the One Tree Hill set, but she admits that it is also one of the messiest.

Quote- (When asked to comment on Paris Hilton's jail sentence): "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." -SB

Fact- Sophia has a love for fashion. She says that is one thing she has in common with her One Tree Hill character Brooke.

Quote- "I'd rather hang out with five people that I love than with 400 strangers at a club who are all doing the up-and-down inspection thing. They appraise everybody from head to toe - the outfit, the handbag, the shoes, how much they weigh...I can't stand it!" -SB

Fact- As her character, Brooke, Sophia can be heard singing in the fourth season of One Tree Hill in the episode "Pictures of You". In this scene, she is impersonating Marilyn Monroe.

Quote- "I enjoy getting riled up, and nothing's gonna do that for you like a good scary movie." -SB

Fact- Sophia did not appear in One Tree Hill until the second episode. Her character, Brooke, was introduced as the comic relief. Brooke has been a regular ever since.

Quote- "Life is too short, and I'm Italian. I'd much rather eat pasta and drink wine than be a size 0." -SB

Fact- When asked about the possibility of starring in the new Wonder Woman movie, Sophia said that she would have to think about it because she didn't want to give up bar food. She "likes cheeseburgers too much."

Quote- (about her character Brooke, in One Tree Hill S.4) "She kinda stopped validating herself just from male attention and started figuring out what she needed to do to make herself happy, which is huge because I think that's... a pretty big lesson in life in general." -SB

Fact- A Paris Hilton song was going to be played in the background of a season four One Tree Hill scene involving Brooke and Rachel, but due to her history with Paris and Chad, the song was replaced with Le Disko by Shiny Toy Guns.

Quote- "I own four copies of Robin WIlliams's Live on Broadway comedy special for HBO. One in Wilmington, one in L.A., one in my trailer, and one at my parents' house. I can watch it over and over again and it never gets old. He is the funniest, wittiest man on the planet!" -SB

Fact- Sophia's nicknames are Soph and Sophie.

Quote- "Getting wasted is only OK when you're young enough to not know better. " -SB

Fact- One of Sophia's best friends is John Tucker Must Die co-star, Brittany Snow.

Quote- "People care about my personal life. But really I'm dorky! I drink beer and go to football games. And ya know, sit in my house in a t-shirt on the weekends and play with my dog!" -SB

Fact- Sophia and Chad Micheal Murrary were married on April 16, 2005 in Santa Monica. The couple separated after five months of marriage when he admitted that he had been unfaithful to her. Rumors are that he cheated on her with Paris Hilton while they were filming the movie House of Wax in 2005. In the divorce papers Sophia citied Fraud as the reason for annulment.

Quote- (in reference to the portrayal of strong women in cinema) "I think what's exceptional about that is typically in the sociology of our culture, we're so used to those gender roles of the women being supported and it's wonderful when you see that that's really not how it is. Because sorry to say, women run the house. They run the family. They hold things up. I mean, it's like you don't ever see your mom get sick because she handles everything. And it's kind of amazing I think to show people just how strong women are. And people enjoy it. And I think people want to see women that reflect women in their lives that they know now." -SB

Fact- Sophia is close friends with her One Tree Hill co-stars Tyler Hilton and Bevin Prince. She lives with Bevin.

Quote- Moira Kelly: (about Sophia) "Sophia is all girl. She has the most amazing presence. She is very sexy and she doesn't even know it." -SB

Fact- Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton were born a week apart. Hilarie's birthday is July 1st 1982 and Sophia's is July 8th 1982.

Quote- "I get to experiment with a lot of looks with my character so that's really fun for me. It's like getting to paint a new canvas everyday." -SB

Fact- In her spare time, Sophia is assistant editor for Annenberg TV News. This is a student news organization.

Quote- "We've all known a John Tucker. We've either known one, dated one or our best friend has dated one. I think a lot of men at one point or another have been a John Tucker." -SB

Fact- Sophia was #3 on Femme Fatales, The 50 Sexiest Women and #15 on Much Music's 20 Hottest Women in 2004.

Quote- Bethany Joy Lenz (About Sophia): "Sophia is energetic and has a beautiful heart."

Fact- Sophia attended USC for 3 years as a Journalism major. She would love to go back and graduate. If she were not acting she would defiently be a journalist. She would one day love to write a book.

Quote- "I get to do what I love every day. I get to crawl into someone else's head and I love that." -SB

Fact- Sophia is a member of the alumni for the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Southern California.

Quote- "I want to get married again and have kids and even adopt." -SB

Fact- Sophia started her career on her high school theater stage.

Quote- "I've always been the long-term relationship, go-home-and-meet-mom girl." -SB

Fact- Sophia considers herself a really big bag person.

Quote- "Brooke and I share some similarities. We're both passionate, fiercely loyal people. But she is far more outlandish than I'd ever be, particularly with her body and her sexuality. Brooke has made herself weak for men - she only gained self-confidence from their attention." -SB

Fact- Sophia collects makeup. Makeup is like shoes for her.

Quote- "I was a total education geek. I loved school. I loved learning. I loved doing homework. All of my books and notebooks from high school are underlined and highlighted and there are notes all over the margins. And you know, I was a theater kid too. I was all over the place." -SB

Fact- When Sophia was younger, she wanted to become a doctor.

Quote- "I'm not a celebrity. I don't call myself a celebrity. I'm an actor." -SB

Fact- Sophia's very first role was playing 'Sally', the sassy freshman in National Lampoon's Van Wilder.

Quote- "I wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid, but I started doing theater in high school because it was a requirement. At first, I was completely irritated. You know, at the time I was playing volleyball, and I just thought it was a major inconvenience. But I ended up loving it. I made a decision to follow through with it because I never enjoyed anything as much as being up onstage and being someone else. So I decided to pursue it, and voila!" -SB

Fact- Sophia's special skills are photography, horseback riding & boxing.

Quote- (On kissing Brittany Snow in John Tucker Must Die): "Oh it was so funny. Everybody was so nervous about it. We were just like, let's go for it. Let's make some people laugh. The boy, the young boy who sees us kiss in the movie, genuinely freaked out the first time he saw it. He couldn't get his line out, and we lost it. It was hysterical." -SB

Fact- Some of Sophia's favorite musicians are: Aerosmith, Josh Kelley, Maroon 5, Damien Rice and N.E.R.D.

Quote- "I've always been the mom among all of my buddies and really a caretaker and definitely the girl who can go out and hang with the boys and be comfortable." -SB

Fact- Sophia's father, Charles William Bush, is a celebrity photographer, and her mother, Maureen Bush, is a photography studio manager

Quote- "Marriage is not about age; it's about finding the right person." - SB

Fact- Sophia was uncomfortable in her love scene with a girl in Nip/Tuck.

Quote- "To be happy, it first takes being comfortable being in your own shoes. The rest can work up from there." -SB

Fact- Sophia's favorite show is Law & Order.

Quote- "The hardest situation to stay happy in, I think, is when you're trying to find love, and yourself at the same time. It just doesn't seem to fit well."

Fact- The qualities Sophia dislikes in a person are jealousy, dishonesty, and false kindness. The qualities that Sophia likes in a person include; honesty, loyalty, enthusiasm, intelligence, and confidence.

Quote- "Brooke is definitely confident shall we say, she is daring, she is a little wild. She does everything on the planet that I would have never done, in high school, I mean I read the scripts and I think: I can't do this! She's a role model of what not to do! She sets examples of what can really hurt you if you let it, if you take things too far." -SB

Fact- One of Sophia's pet peeves is when people leave their blinkers on after they've changed lanes.

Quote- (on getting free stuff): "I still get excited. You think, 'Really? I can have it?' And sometimes people want to give you more, and it's like 'Two?"

Fact- Sophia's favorite authors are Paul Coelho and Mitch Albom.

Quote- "Mystery makes movie stars! If you see someone on the cover of the weeklies all the time, why would you want to pay to see them in a movie?" -SB

Fact- Sophia's favorite actresses are Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Charlize Theron. Sophia's favorite actors are Sean Penn, Edward Norton, and Robin Williams.

Quote- (on Law & Order: SVU): "Oh! That's my all-time favorite. I met the cast last year. When Richard Belzer shook my hand and I looked him in the eye, I was having heart palpitations. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't breathe. I'll be fine in a second." And he said, "Over us? Really?" I have every episode of every season TiVo'd. I freaked out." -SB

Fact- Sophia's favorite designers are Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Chloe, and Ya-Ya.

Quote- (on kareoke): "We've done some serious Notorious B.I.G. songs, which is really amusing - 100 people staring at the geekiest little white girls in the bar, screaming Biggie at the top of their lungs." -SB

Fact- Sophia's hobbies include reading, photography and scrapbooking.

Quote- (on being part of young Hollywood): "We have normal lives. We're not getting big egos out here like those people who are constantly chauffered around and going to parties every night. A lot of people in this business seem to think their entitled to extra-special treatment." -SB

Fact- Sophia loves sports. Her favorite sport is football. Her favorite team is the USC Trojans.

Quote- (on what makes her starstruck): "I was out last night, and almost lost it because I looked to my left and there's Hugh Laurie. I love House. I mean, I love it." -SB

Fact- Sophia's favorite food include sushi, steak, mashed potatoes, chips and guacamole, and macaroni and cheese. She also loves junk food like Cheez-its and ice cream.

Quote- (on cheerleading, One Tree Hill) "Totally bizarre. I went to a very small, private, all-girls school my entire life. We never did the cheer thing. The first couple of weeks on the show, I felt completely spastic, especially when we had to do those choreographed chant things. Now, Hilarie [Burton] and I look forward to the days we shoot cheers. We get to run around, act bubbly and shake our pom-poms in people's faces." -SB

Fact- Sophia went to an all girls school growing up, she graduated from Westridge School in Pasadena, California in 2000.

Quote- "Being a teenager is an amazing time and a hard time. It's when you make your best friends--I have girls who will never leave my heart and I still talk to. You get the best and the worst as a teen. You have the best friendships and the worst heartbreaks." -SB

Fact- Sophia is 5'6.5" tall or 1.69 m

Quote- "I love kids. I do not plan on having any until I'm as least in my 30s." -SB

Fact- Sophia was crowned the Tournament of Pasadena Rose Queen in 2000.

Quote- (about working on the set of One Tree Hill with ex-husband Chad Micheal Murray): "My job is my job, and my personal life is my personal life, and I keep them separate. It's my job. It's not always easy, but it's my work – it's what I love and take pride in, and I won't let that slack because of personal circumstances." Sophia: "My dogs get to sleep with me now, so they're the ones benefiting from the situation."(On her divorce) - SB

Fact- Sophia was supposed to be in Terminator 3 but the part was recast after they decided Sophia looked too young.

Quote- "As a strong woman, there are things I would never put up with."

Quote- (on Brooke in One Tree Hill): "Unlike Brooke, I was never the madly obssesed type. I was the girl-in-the-long-term-relationship type. I dated my best friend for three years in high school and he is still my best friend."

Quote- "I want to play everything. I really want to do it all."

Quote- "I love boxing. There's something fierce about using your body's force that way.

"Quote- (on dating 'Stay Alive' co-star, Jon Foster): "I took about a year for myself and now I have somebody great."
