Since last year, Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen has been telling friends and hinting to the media that her true passion is not acting, but music. Back in December, her friends said that she was inspired by a New York City Blondie concert to start her own band.
"Gossip Girl" (7 p.m. Monday, WGN-Ch. 9) may be spinning off a new show, which would be set before the soap's teen characters were born. The May 11 episode of the CW show will serve as the pilot for a potential new series from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the creators of "Gossip Girl."
